Rcbo is a residual current circuit breaker and a circuit breaker with overcurrent protection. Compared with other circuit breakers, its functions are very comprehensive, basically including short circuit protection, overload protection and leakage protection functions. There are rcd and rccb in the circuit breaker model. The rcd circuit breaker only has the leakage protection function, that is, a simple leakage protector. The rccb circuit breaker has two functions of leakage protection and short circuit protection.
Circuit breaker principle: When a short circuit occurs, the magnetic field generated by the large current (generally 10 to 12 times) overcomes the reaction spring, the release pulls the operating mechanism to act, and the switch trips instantaneously. When overloaded, the current becomes larger, the heat generation increases, and the bimetallic sheet deforms to a certain extent to promote the action of the mechanism (the larger the current, the shorter the action time).
