Surge is also called surge, as the name implies, it is an instantaneous overvoltage that exceeds the normal operating voltage. Essentially, a surge is a violent pulse that occurs in just a few millionths of a second and can be caused by: heavy equipment, short circuits, power switching, or large engines. Products containing surge blocking devices can effectively absorb large bursts of energy to protect connected equipment from damage.

Surge protector, also known as lightning arrester, is an electronic device that provides safety protection for various electronic equipment, instrumentation, and communication lines. When a surge current or voltage is suddenly generated in an electrical circuit or communication line due to external interference, the surge protector can conduct and shun the current in a very short period of time, thereby avoiding damage to other equipment in the circuit by the surge.

SZ-NPE series surge protector is suitable for TT， TN-S， and other power supply systems of 50/60HZ， 230/400V and below.It is used between neutral line(N) and ground line(PE) to protect the surge caused by indirect lightning and direct lightning or other instantaneous overvoltage.Products comply with GB 18802.1, GB50057andIEC 61643-1 standards.
